Renal function - obstructive uropathy.
Renography with Tc-MAG3, patient in sitting position. Furosemide administration i.v. at 7 min.
A left-side obstruction is seen. There, the parenchymal function is slightly lower (42%), curve peak not reached and MTT 14.5 min, and calculated outflow efficiency 32% in 20 minutes. The area of the obstructed kidney is larger than in the contralateral side (55.3cm2 vs. 45.3cm2). The right pelvis is slightly dilatated with a good diuretic response.
